PM phones Italian counterpart, expresses grief on loss life

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has expressed his grief over the loss of lives in the deadly earthquake in Central Italy. Talking to the Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi by telephone, the Prime Minister offered to extend succor for the victims of earthquake. He invited his Italian counterpart to visit Pakistan which the latter accepted. Silvio Berlusconi on the occasion assured his country’s participation in the upcoming Friends of Democratic Pakistan meeting to be held in Tokyo on April 17.
