LAHORE: Secretary Pakistan Hockey Federation and manager Pakistan team participating in the Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament, Asif Bajwa said that though he is disappointed for Pakistan’s defeat in two matches but expects a brilliant performance from the national team in the coming days. Talking with Amjad Aziz Malik of Geo News, Asif Bajwa said that the national team consists of young players who have displayed the best performance on their level. However, the shortcomings in their game would be overcome in the Asia Cup. Replying to a question, he said that senior players would be available to the national team in the Asia Cup and they would play an important role in the victories of Pakistan. Asif Bajwa expressed hope that the young players would be proved a valuable asset for the national hockey team in future. |
