Woman killed in Karachi firing incident

KARACHI: Unknown gunmen shot dead a 45-year-old woman and managed to flee in PIB area here on Saturday, Geo news reported. According to police sources, the incident took place over an old family feud and the shooting occurred under the jurisdiction of New Town police station. The victim was later identified as Sakina, a resident of South Karachi, sources added. SSP Gulshan Iqbal Town Arib Mehar Ali told Geo news that police have kicked off investigation but apparently, the incident indicates toward family enmity as the lady married going against the wishes of her parents besides, she was being continiously threathened.
