Terrorism a global menace, efforts afoot for wiping it out: Nawaz

RAIWIND: Muslim League-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif has said that terrorism was a global issue and efforts were afoot for stamping it out. In a meeting with the Malaysian High Commissioner, Ahmad Shizan at Raiwind here, Mian Nawaz Sharif said that by getting the judiciary restored the first step towards the goal has been achieved and now striving for strengthening other organizations. Nawaz Sharif said that economic cooperation with Malaysia was valued high. “We welcome the reconciliation policy of President Zardari, as the harmony among the political parties would strengthen democracy. He said if the Charter of Democracy (CoD) was implemented, then extending hands of friendship towards president Zardari was not any issue”, he elaborated.
